Notes: All market share figures refer to market share by unit. The interpolated figures (market with "~") may not be completely correct, as often only rounded figures were available as source material. Market value and ASP refer to end-user prices - i.e., do not represent revenue for AMD & nVidia.

I’m not sure on what to prioritize on a monitor

    Posted: 03 Sep 2021 01:41 AM PDT

Hi, I've recently built a PC that I had been saving for since 2018, and with the help of a friend that knows about computers I think we've done a good job. Now I'm looking to buy two monitors, one for gaming and the other one as a secondary screen. The thing is that I'm a total computer noob and I don't know what to prioritize. I kinda got a good budget, so I don't believe money is that much of a limitation. So I was looking at some really good monitors and came across the following questions regarding the gaming monitor (I play all kind of FPS and then LoL or Rocket league)

-would you rather get a 240/280/360hz monitor but only Full HD over a 144/165hz one but 2K? -Would you prefer a 27" screen or you think 24" would be enough? (This is because I've got the fear that 24 may not be enough idk) -Is it worth the extra price between 240hz and 360hz? -Is a refresh rate of 1ms sufficient enough or should I aim for the 0.4/0.5ms ones?

Sorry for the long post and my lack of English skills. If you could reply me providing some links for the monitors you think have the worthiest specs for gaming. Thanks a lot!

Will ssd's with SRAM (Static RAM) be sold to consumers in the future?

I'm reading articles about ssd's with sram chips but no one seems to know if company's are selling them to consumers.
