According to Intel's Blog post Here And Some third party's review Here It seems that only 4K random read/write is hindered on x570 chipset. Most test nowaydays just measure the sequential read/write speed which is a very poor predictor of real-life performance. https://www.techpowerup.com/review/western-digital-wd-black-sn850-1-tb-ssd/8.html I was surprised to see that the fastest SSD like WD SN850 and Samsung 980 have negligible impact on the load time of games.
