    Flipping

    This happens all the time, but because of the current events there has been an increase in demand for certain products. This includes but is not limited to Nintendo Switches, webcams, Valve Index, SFF cases, etc. Inevitably, the prices for these items will go up if the quantity demanded isn't being produced fast enough or stops altogether. The following also applies to items that were obtained through pricing errors:

    Whether people bought them for personal reasons and decided to take advantage of the current market or to simply resell doesn't matter. In this subreddit, an item is worth what the current market dictates it to be, not what you think it should be. Even if it's over MSRP. Unless you can find a link where it is currently available to be purchased for less than the price being asked, stop posting derogatory comments. If you have a link, post it and move on. We're not here to call people out on their intentions and/or derail a thread because of them. If they're not willing to cooperate, then that's on them. Their items simply won't sell. No need to press the issue any further. A refresher for those that don't read the rules:

    Rule enforcement

    c. A seller is allowed to post any price they feel is appropriate. If you wish to critique pricing, you must provide links to sites or threads where the item is currently available to be purchased for less or has recently sold for a lower price. Must be the exact same item, in the exact same condition. This is what we refer to as 'price policing'. Comments that suggest a price is too high without proving proof of it are not allowed.

    d. Do not use corporate sales or pricing errors as a reference for an item's worth. Microcenter and eBay auction links are not acceptable reference points.

    Attitude

    b. Being rude or harassing another member of the community is prohibited and repeated infractions will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

    c. Thread crapping will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to leaving comments that instigate, are sarcastic, or otherwise derail threads from its purpose to buy, sell, or trade an item. In short, if it doesn't help the original poster make their trade, then you probably shouldn't be leaving the comment.

    Here in this community, if an item is really worth what the person is asking to buy or sell it for, then it will be sold/bought for that price. If it doesn't, then that user will have to adjust their price/budget until they're able to make the trade. We don't need several users posting smart ass comments and repeating what's already being said.

    Yes, I know that this community is known for having good deals but it's not a requirement to post here. We're not here to regulate what prices should be, so if you're actually interested in an item, make a realistic offer or move on. Note that offering MSRP for an item when it's selling well above that won't do anything for you, so don't waste your time arguing why you shouldn't pay over MSRP.

    Failure to follow the above mentioned rules is grounds for an immediate second strike and a temporary suspension.

    Phanteks 140mm RGB fans x6 and halos of varying sizes: the fans came from my P500A and haven't seen a lot of use, the halos are plastic frames and fit any 120-140mm fan to add rgb goodness. can split either which way or altogether for $60

    Noctua industrial 2000rpm a14s: these things move so much air lol, and they arent as obnoxiously loud as the 3000rpm versions. and theyre not poop colored! i have 4 of these immediately available plus some extra bumpers, also have 3 more in my pc that are waiting to be replaced with some lian li SL140s. ive got 3 of them hooked up with aluminum frame digital halos which were like 20 bucks a pop. take all 7 fans and the halos for $140

    Asrock Z390 Taichi: this has a couple of slightly bent pins in the socket, and i mean slight, its hard to tell in the pics. meant to patch it up but i dont use asrock boards nor do i have a z390 so idk why i even have this lol. otherwise in fantastic condition, looks good and has the og box and i/o cover. selling as-is. $60

    X299 stuff: ive got 2 asus x299 rampage extreme boards, both are in great shape but one is kinda barebones (no box and few accessories) and the other one has got everything, including the sli bridges and all that. also have a delidded 7920x 12 core, ekwb monoblocks for each board, and other watercooling hardware if you wanna get in on some cheap stuff like that. asking $250 for the 7920x, $350 for the board with everything, and $250 for the barebones one. will toss in a monoblock with each mobo.

    Corsair dominator 4x8gb 3200mhz: cl16 timings but they are v4.31 which is samsung b die, so they have more overclocking headroom than your average ram. havent had the time to mess with these personally but other corsair low-binned b die kits i've messed with have run 3600-3800mhz+. willing to split the set if i have two buyers, otherwise asking $200 for all 32gb.

    bunch of SSDs: yep I'm too lazy to grab the CDI for each one right now. will get around to it later this weekend if you want lol. theres two 500gb sn550s, one 1tb sn550, and one 1tb swordfish. $50 per 500gb, $80 per 1tb.

    PNY CS3140 or Samsung 970 Pro (MLC, not the evo): I got the pny 4.0 drive cause I was thinking of adding it to my rig but all my slots are used up. so whichever one sells first, i'll keep the other. the 970 pro has ~80-100 tbw, so about 80-90% lifespan remaining iirc. will get the cdi for that later. the pny is bnib. no clue what prices should be on these so very tentatively asking $200 for the 970 pro and $300 for the pny 4.0. please lmk if thats way off lol

    Intel G5400: works good for testing stuff i guess. no box or stock cooler. $40

    Intel G5900: also works well. has box and stock cooler. $60

    Asus Crosshair Extreme X570: in absolute mint, open box condition. all plastic peel-off thingies are intact and all goodies are sealed in the original box. was gonna use it but my dark hero is already overkill, this thing is just truly insane lol. $700

    Asus 3070 Strix V2 and Gigabyte Aorus Master 3070 2.0: both BNIB and sealed (at least as sealed as gigabyte gpus can be) and theyre LHR, mostly looking to trade these for another card. primarily looking for 3080s or 6800xt/6900xts, preferably large coolers and big power limits (3x8pin for 3080s) but open to other models. also will consider particular 2080tis like a strix, white strix, aorus, or ftw3/kingpin. open to air cooled, hybrid, and maybe even waterblocked cards. let me know what you've got to trade!

    Asus 1080ti Strix: this is the card i'm currently using, if you'd be interested in downgrading to this with one of the above cards then i'm all ears! i repasted it a month or two ago and temps are fantastic, runs great and quiet. let me know what you've got to trade!

    Dell Latitude 3520 Y222F business laptop (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1643210-REG/dell_y222f_latitude_3520_i5_1135g78gb_1dimms.html): got this at the beginning of this college semester but i ended up getting a big ol gaming laptop anyways. has great battery life and a pretty decent keyboard for a cheaper laptop, full numpad too. has one of those newer Tiger Lake CPUs with the Iris XE iGPU so it's pretty fast too. i've upgraded this with double the ram (2x8gb now) and added a 500gb sata ssd alongside the stock 240gb nvme. can upgrade you to a 500gb-1tb ssd from above if youd like as well! in its current configuration (i5-1135g7, 16gb dual channel ram, 740gb ssd storage), i'm asking $650.

    Gskill Trident Z RGB 4x16gb 3600c16 b die: been meaning to downgrade to another 32gb kit ive got cause i never use even half of this immense amount of ram. great for ocing, though i'm on ryzen and i'm lazy so i didnt bother going past stock with these. runs great and looks fantastic, have the og boxes too. willing to split if there are two interested buyers, otherwise asking $400 for all 64gb.

    Logitech G29 with pedals: Soon to be replaced with a fanatec DD. ive used this for maybe a year now, its in great shape and works perfectly. this works on both PC and PS4 (pretty sure it works on PS5 too but not 100% sure) the little blue ring at the top of the wheel has the finish peeling off a bit but thats purely cosmetic. pretty sure i have the og box for it. $200

    Hello Hardwareswap community!

    I am looking to sell an entire custom loop SFX build I just completed this week [imgur].

    Before anyone calls me crazy, here is the background -- I graduated from uni a few months ago and wanted to invest some money into a sfx build so I began gathering parts -- I even managed to camp out overnight at best buy and get a MSRP 3080ti FE. Long story short, I went all out on this build sparing no expense and finally completed it this week. However, I got a new job in Asia and will not be able to take it with me.

    I want to sell the PC as a whole because I leave at the end of this month and do not have time to organize and ship all parts individually. I am NOT looking to make a profit from this, just get back close to or even less than what I payed for it -- I put a lot of time and love into the build and I want an enthusiest to enjoy it.... otherwise it will just end up in my garage and never be used!!!!

    The total MSRP value for all the parts new is close to 4,000 but I'm hoping to get 3,600 for the whole thing.
