FPS and percent based means against FPS outliers Posted: 18 Jan 2021 09:03 AM PST Here is the Sheets. Here is an image of the graph for you to look at. Row 17 to 20 are for you to input what you want, the other FPS numbers are from the 1080p results from Hardware Unboxed. For color blind people, click on the chart and hover over a point to show the name of that mean. The blue line represents all the percents for how much faster the 10900k is to the 5600x. All the other dashed lines represent various means. Some means weren't graphed with those being geometric and harmonic onto percent (invalid), and RMS onto FPS (basically 0). Assuming realistic percents, the three most robust means are geometric onto FPS and RMS and arithmetic onto percents. RMS onto percent is much worse than arithmetic though, so it should never be used. Harmonic onto FPS sometimes looks good, but it can easily go negative. Geometric and arithmetic are right on top of eachother. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Jan 2021 12:47 PM PST I saw a handful of videos about Intel's Cryo cooler months ago and im wondering why nothing has came of it? When I saw that I though maybe this could be the future. That a tiny , simple square of ceramic could replace and out-perform complex, pricey water cooling systems. Has there been nothing at CES? Edit: I had forgotten about TEC so much that I didnt remember that I saw it was working in tandem with water cooling. Sorry about that. However when it comes to the AIO versions of TEC the question still stands. [link] [comments] |
