Quad-core battle: Ryzen 3 3100/3300X vs. Core i3-10100/10300 at Cinebench R20 Posted: 26 Apr 2020 08:29 PM PDT Disclaimer: There are no sources for these Cinebench R20 benchmarks at CPU-Monkey, so take it with a grain of salt. But usually, their benchmark values are pretty much reliable.

Samsung C24FG73 144Hz monitor Review Posted: 26 Apr 2020 01:18 PM PDT About a week ago i decided to upgrade my monitor, my old SyncMaster, a relic from 2006 was getting a bit too old. I decided to get the Samsung C24FG73, a 144Hz monitor with a reasonable price. The overall experience is good, there are some caveats though. Here is my full review, reddit doesn't play well with multiple images... [link] [comments] | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Intel's issues are not with Intel, but with American/Western manufacturing in general Posted: 26 Apr 2020 08:30 AM PDT It would actually be weird if Intel wasn't struggling. Intel's issues are long term, mainly because they won't be able to compete with TSMC/Samsung on cost(and even tech). That's even if they solve everything else. It's the same thing that happened to almost every other manufacturing industry outside aerospace/defense. They(Asian fabs)already dominate NAND and DRAM, and now they are taking microprocessor manufacturing as well. Eventually, Intel will have to go asset-light to compete with AMD. AMD will simply continue throw their designs to Asian fabs to churn out at a high rate and relatively low cost. AMD looks more competent now simply because they were forced to transition to design-only first. Intel will be able to more than compete once they go design-only. But they will continue to lose market share and look incompetent until they do. I really think this is inevitable and I wonder if you all feel the same. [link] [comments] |
