Why cant AMD reach clock speeds as high as Intel does even though they are on 7nm already? Posted: 14 Jun 2020 08:42 AM PDT Intel is pushing their CPU's to 5.2Ghz (with massive Power consumption but still) while no Ryzen processor is able to achieve this, they surely are the better choice right now but why is that? Steam Survey, NVidia GPU users outnumber AMD GPU users over 4 to 1, but why? Posted: 14 Jun 2020 08:25 AM PDT I was shocked to find out that there are about 4.6 NVidia users for every 1 AMD GPU user. https://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/ Why do you think there's such a large gap? EDIT: Thanks so much for the commentary. I really appreciate the discussion here. For as tired a topic of "AMD vs Nvidia" may be, the discussion here is a lot more than I was finding when I googled various phrases on this topic. [link] [comments] |
