Intel vs. AMD value: No contest

Late to the game here in the Intel 10th gen vs AMD battle, with this one thought about 11th gen

    Posted: 24 May 2020 06:17 AM PDT

Just dawned on me reading up on Rocket Lake, no matter who you think is better, Intel is squeezing the proverbial "blood from the turnip" with Comet Lake , mostly due to 14nm limitations. One can say the performance of 10th gen Comet Lake is a miracle of Intel Engineer , disregarding heat etc. or just Desperation of using what they have to stay relevant.

So I wanted to take a POV of 10th gen wins but just barely, with that thinking.

I just realized Rocket Lake the next successor that will be coming SOON and have PCI-E 4 etc missing features, that people can say AMD had/has now. Rocket Lake is still 14nm , but have the Intel XE igpu, that one could guess Intel will use as the look we outperform AMD . But as much as IGPU is nice to say I got for my expenditure, even when i don't game , I realize I need at minim low end of mid range for ease of multi monitor support with matching display type and outputs.

I keep thinking the next Intel launch is where they "NO Debate win everything but maybe the Price to performance" but I still think there will be debate still with Rocket Lake of AMD VS Intel and have solid arguments... AMD 4000/Zen 3 will up the performance leaving Intel behind , and Zen 3+ will tweak the performance , leaving Intel's NEXT 12th gen play catch up or surpass but how much surpass can it technically do, so I am wondering will take the years to Intel 13 or 14th Gen they return to KING of the Hill?

SideNote: Intel little big core stuff in the later gens coming , I wonder going to be efficiency crown but not PERFORMANCE and distract them further from having the best of best leader ship on desktop.
