[TPM] - What happens when using fTPM and changing CPU? Posted: 03 Jul 2021 05:04 AM PDT So, since TPM Modules a scarse, the obvious solution would be to just activate the fTPM option in most modern BIOSes. But from my understanding this relies on the CPU's trusted execution environment. Will changing the CPU render any encrypted data unusable or unrecoverable? [link] [comments] |
