    What's up, swappers!? Normally I come bearing the gift of cheap drives, but this time it's different. This is my favorite community and I wanted to give back, so that's why I'm starting weekly giveaways. To kick it off, I'm giving away a 500GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD!

    I was toying with the idea of a new build and thought I'd put a feeler up for my current setup.

    tldr- Any interest in $1250 cash picked up in socal for a quad-radiator 960mm Fractal Nano S? Price includes everything but the hard drives. $980 without the GTX 1080 & could look into shipping. (Don't really want to ship a watercooled GPU). Would also consider selling without the CPU. Sorry for the bad pictures, lighting is tough & everything is covered in ash right now & smudges.

    Additional info:

    I have more fun designing & building than I do playing games. This has been a really fun build. I think it started as a basic 280 & grew from there, I can't really remember the many iterations it's been through. The original 'challenge' was to see if 2 280's could fit d: They did! Important thing is it's ready to go- everything is controlled & monitored via the Corsair Commander Pro dashboard. This is my daily use computer.

    Problems/Issues: it's used, and has minor scratches. It's ready for a flush + clean. The motherboard has a time sync issue - I guess there are problems with some Asus mobos where the desktop clock doesn't automatically update; it is solved by downloading a program that auto syncs the clock, which solved the problem. Only one of the water temp sensors is reading right now (haven't looked into it yet).

     

    I've had a lot of fun rebuilding & tinkering with it. The pump in the T12 just died, and that kind of set off a thought train of building a new, even smaller monster, or rebuilding the Nano again. I'd love to see someone get enjoyment out of the Nano, I've pretty much completed my original vision. It is a really great case & what kick started this whole thing along with the T12. I love the current configuration, & can't really think of what more to ask for.

    I think I have boxes for... the mobo, cpu, psu, rads, commander, case?, t12? maybe some of the fans? It's been too long & I'd have to look.

     

    Like I said, the pump just died, & I will replace it before sale. Right now there's temporarily an accessory pump installed below the gpu (it usually has a visual flow monitor there). I decided to put it up for sale when I realized that I had nothing left to change when I was going to drain it & swap pumps :/ The vision has been completed.

    I think I have enough black hose to replace the clear if you prefer. I don't remember why I used clear for a couple sections. The cabling & hoses can be tidied up a bit more for aesthetics.

    The basic design is to shuttle water from: gpu > 120mm > cpu > top rad > front rad > bottom rad > res The fans: front intake, bottom intake, top exhaust, rear exhaust.

    For daily use, only the bottom ML140's run (~400-450 rpm)- this is very quiet, and is low maintenance with the bottom filter. (I will not say silent, because IMO silent is fanless, and even then you worry about things like coil whine). Air also exhausts out of the other rads. During gaming you can ramp up the fans of your choice (either manually, or through custom auto presets). The front do little until you remove the front panel.

     

    The parts were picked based on noise & performance. I believe the GTS rads are supposed to be the best in their thickness class (at lower/quieter speeds). You probably are familiar with the ML140 fans; I don't think it gets better than that. The Noctua's I listened to didn't compete, and the ML's offer dual capability in performance as well as low RPM noise. I took a screenshot of playing Dark Souls 3 at 3840x2160p, max settings, after 45 minutes. That's with the case closed & fans at a quiet level. GPU overclocked to 115% power limit, 84c temp limit, +160 core, +500 memory (I don't remember max GPU overclock settings), CPU stock, I never really got into OC cpu.

    Future plans/what I'd do differently: at this point just about everything is a sidegrade or gilding the lily or changing things for the worse. You could cut the top and/or front covers to allow for airflow with the covers in-place (using mesh inserts). You could tidy up the wiring/hoses a bit. Realign the bottom radiator (it is a bit crooked), add lighting, change fittings, etc. I was toying with the idea of adding a fan to the inside center of the front rad, or trying a smaller 120mm or something. You could make a cover for the original PSU & gpu case holes. Someone offers a glass side panel which would look nice, and there's also an OEM windowed version.

    Anyway, it was a lot of fun & I'd like to repeat the process in a new, even smaller & more challenging platform. I hope someone out there would like to give it a home. It's a really cool case & offers for a ton of unique configurations/options.

    I hat to see it go, but I haven't really used it in like 2 years. I only ever used it for the occasional nostalgia trip, and when i was staying at hotels. To give you an idea of how little i used it, pretty much every time I turned it on, there was a new update lol.

    Both the console and HDD have been formatted/reset.

    There is a small black mark on the top of the console that didn't come off when i was cleaning the whole thing with rubbing alcohol on a paper towel, but that seems to be the only issue that i could find.

    A series of unfortunate events has made me sell my PC and components. First my mother complained about my tech taking up too much space, i got a bunch of parts for a new PC and lacked money to complete it so i just have parts laying around. Second because of COVID my engineering class curriculum has switched to cloud based apps instead of Auto-desk and revit and i do not require a good PC now that i can do CAD on my laptop as my original was to build a PC capable of doing CAD as my old one stutters a lot and third i broke someone's door by accident and i require money to replace it.     IMPORTANT READ- The 2 TB hard drive doesn't work my friend wiped it so i could sell it with this PC but after that it didn't show up.

    -if you buy CPU and the PC i will take 20$ off and if you get everything i will take 50$ off

    -I might not sell the Corsair case with the fans if it isn't bought with everything as one of my friends needs a case

    -Everything works, PC has clean windows 10 installed(inactivated), it has my custom undervolt preset on MSI afterburner and i recommend you don't uninstall it because it will get really hot, i also installed direct x and vc run time files so you don't need to worry about that and i uninstalled candy crush and other bloatware. Case was never built in still has the plastic wrap , only opened it to inspect if there was any damage(there isn't).

    -things might be gone without a trade and that's because I'm selling on other websites as well

    -Also i can include a lga1150 motherboard 88DT1 and IO Shield and a 160GB HDD for free if you buy the PC and CPU together i couldn't get video out of the motherboard (MOBO might be broken) but the fans connected do spin and the HDD has not been wiped but i got this from a friend who is very keen on privacy so there is most likely no risky stuff on there.

Primarily looking for the drop-in top radiator mount, a short adjustable flex-bay mount (MAC-213), and a USB retrofit kit. For the USB kit, the case I bought actually has the IO panel with the cutout for the USB adapter/cable, so if you have just the cable for some reason, I am interested as in that well - or even an IO panel with just the Power/Reset cutouts.     It is also region 3 meaning the only difference is on the home screen the X and O buttons are swapped i.e X is for back, O is for select. In game, the controller mapping is the same as any other PS4.

    Quest is in great condition, used less than 50 hours. The cushioning you see on the straps is a cheap comfort mod I got on amazon which is actually pretty decent. I have the original box as well as a travel case.
