[Rumor]RTX 3080 to score 8600 and RTX 3090 score 10 000 in 3DMark Time Spy Extreme? Posted: 04 Aug 2020 10:19 AM PDT Known leaker kopite7kimi posted Time Spy Extreme results of the upcoming RTX 3080 a couple of days ago. Apparantly the GPU with the codename GA102-200-KD-A1, which he previously said was RTX3080, scored almost 8600 in Time Spy Extreme (Graphic Score) And here is the leaker saying RTX 3090 will hit almost 10 000 in the same benchmark. Here is RTX 2080 Ti result to compare Take it with a good deal of salt, but sounds very promising if true. Note that both are based on the big GA102 chip, so be prepared to pay :) [link] [comments] |

How long does it thermal paste to lose all effectiveness? Posted: 04 Aug 2020 09:01 AM PDT I wonder this because you have consoles that are 15+ years old but still have thermal paste that at least works enough to keep the console working [link] [comments] |
FPGA Libero tutorial using ModelSim Posted: 04 Aug 2020 09:02 PM PDT I'm getting into FPGA's and my employer wants me to use MicroSemi's Libero software and ModelSim for simulations. I'm trying to find a good tutorial that uses both so that I can learn how to seamlessly write and modify code in Libero which I can later simulate in ModelSim. Thanks! [link] [comments] |

Looking for help: docking station Posted: 05 Aug 2020 12:05 AM PDT I'm trying to find a good dock for my laptop able to process 2x 4k screens through hdmi or dvi. Any tips? Most of what I can find mention limits, so 2x4k is not possible. Compatability with a mac would be great too. [link] [comments] |
What would an actual PC2 look like? Posted: 04 Aug 2020 11:52 PM PDT Computer technology is consistently advancing, but the structure of computers has remained rather the same over the years with things such as the GPU, CPU, motherboard etc. Is there a more effective way to structure computers that would allow for more powerful/efficient computers that would completely change how computers are built as we know it? Maybe a CPU would be split into multiple parts with their own acronyms that you buy individually or some parts of a GPU start becoming integrated into the motherboard? [link] [comments] |
