    Hey all, I have something that's a bit odd for sale today. When the Ryzen CPUs First came out, I planned on buying a Ryzen 5 1600, and did just that. I got the Chip, which came in a 1600 box, along with it saying on the chip that it was infact a ryzen 5 1600. Instead, when I turned on my pc, the Chip showed to have 8 cores and 16 threads. After some research, I found that AMD made a boo boo and sold quite a few of these chips, like in This thread.

    Anyway, Long story short I'm looking to get $125 Shipped OBO for the cpu.

    I suspect these cards were used for mining!!!

    And you suspect correct! They were ran at 1145 core, 2000 mem, with an AC power draw of about 150w, in a temperature controlled and filtered (i did not clean them, there is no dust) box circulating the entire volume of air about 1.5 times a second. Each set of 24 was run on a dedicated breaker and 4kw server PSU set, shared between two motherboards, on industrial AC supply equipment.

    They have also been off for about two years now.

    If you would like a picture of the setup i ran them in, i can provide one.

    For you, no, of course not, unless you want that kind of thing, i don't judge, ok, maybe a little.

    Unless you ask for the modded bios, it will be stock when you get it. The bios does ~29Mh/s on ETH with 150w power draw.

    USPS Flat Rate or FexEx One Rate medium boxes packed with packing peanuts (yes i know, but i have a lot of them), depends on what boxes I have, usually FedEx. If you have a preference of carrier, do specify so I can use that carrier.

    I'm not completely opposed to it, but you would need to figure out how i would ship it and fill out or direct me to the applicable forums. Besides having to pay any import duties, etc, that there are.

    Shipping to Canada specifically (unsure on others): FedEx handles the paperwork for it, there is a $40 CAD import fee (iirc), and shipping is about $35 USD, for the one i shipped to Canada, so use that as reference, its not cheap, but I don't know your market.

    Yes, I only have a few sets of consecutive serial cards, and i have not checked ASIC on them, but i can definitely find you matched cards if you want that. And no, I'm not going to charge you more to do this.

    How do i pay you?

    I send paypal invoices, so when we have an agreed upon price, i will need your paypal email to send one over to you. This gives both of us protection in the event something doesn't go right (but you should know this, as you are on HWS)

    Are these cards safe to buy?

    Pros of a mining GPU (these specifically, does not apply to all cards):

    • Run in a temperature controlled environment keeping primarily the VRM cool
    • Run with lower power draw than stock lowering load on VRMs for the time they were run
    • Past infant mortality, will probably last full GPU lifespan.

    Cons of a mining GPU (Applies to all mining cards):

    • Run 24/7 for an extended period of time
    • Can be dusty (I had a filter that all of the air was run through, so no dust on these cards)
    • Depending on model, you can have worn out fans that are hard to replace. (Sapphire Nitro+ cards have replaceable fans, and i have found a single one that appeared to be worn out of 144 fans checked)
    • Had a custom BIOS, poorly or incorrectly configured ones have the possibility to cause damage. (mine are memory timing changes only, all power and voltage settings are stock)
    • Graphics may or may not be functioning as miners don't need them (i check every card when flashing it back to stock)

    Pros of a Gaming GPU:

    • Not used 24/7

    Cons of a Gaming GPU:

    • Probably run hotter than mining GPUs are, increasing wear on the VRM for the time it was running, and fan RPM
    • Was clocked higher resulting in more power usage (VRM again) and can cause minimal (modded bios is an exception) core degradation

    RAM: I'd like either 1x32GB or 2x16GB. Nothing too crazy for spec, something around 3200MHz would be good.

    CPU: Need something with hyperthreading. Aiming for the i7-10700 or the i9-10900.

    So I have come around to upgrading my cousin's living room PC which was built around 2007. Not expecting to receive alot of profit from 10+ yr old parts BUT if anyone is interested feel free to send me offers.

    Originally the PC was built as a high end gaming PC, after the years went by my cousin phased out of PC gaming and decided to leave it in the living room as a computer everyone in the house uses.

    Before I upgraded the PC the parts worked perfectly fine and the only issue was replacing the stock Intel cooler with a 120mm AIO due to the fan blades becoming damaged somehow it's just chipped but whoever and if anyone decides to buy this aged CPU can have the cooler free if so desired. I just since yesterday cleaned the parts out with an air duster and a small brush to get all the specs of dust out and everything will/can come with its original boxes minus the processor's.

    Any other questions/concerns please feel open to ask.

    First, this Dell XPS 9370. It had been originally purchased for work around March but I settled on a SurfaceBook 2 instead. This laptop has not been touched or used at all, however I have just recently booted the laptop up to make sure everything works before I sell it. Will happily sell for $1100 USD shipped as laptop does not come with the original box. It still has basic warranty until Sep 19,2020 with warranty extensions still possible (1yr - $67.15, 2 yr - $134.30, 3 yr $185.08).
