    Hello! I am a deaf person who wears cochlear implants to hear. Currently, I wear bulky headphones to listen to music, but I'm quite tired of carrying around some big, expensive, heavy Sennheisers. So, I set off on a project- to 3D print an earbud-to-implant adapter. I want to flex on people and AirPods have gotten pretty cheap, so it'd be a fun project.

    So, with all that said, looking up "AirPod dimensions" doesn't get me too far, so I'm looking for a broken AirPod for cheap to help me 3D print this thing. Don't really have a set budget, but I'd prefer to keep it cheap as I'm a broke student and I'm not about to pay $50 for one broken AirPod.

    EDIT: got some knockoffs for free from a very generous person! Thanks to all the people who commented ideas and such! Will likely put up a post of my finished project somewhere down the line. I can only work on it at school where we have a lab of 16-20 3D printers. Thanks again everyone!
