    Happy Holidays Swappers! This season I am feeling rather giving and am selling 12 builds at a significant loss to me, but that means a win for 12 lucky people :)

    To answer a few questions:

    • Why am I doing this?
      • I was blessed this year with the news that I have my first child on the way. This means I need to raise funds for the ridiculous cost of baby items as well as make room in our house (my old PC workshop is turning into the baby's room).
      • I am feeling rather generous this year.
    • What am I selling?
      • PC builds for various budgets. All are new or like-new. Very few parts will have more use than standard testing for functionality.
    • How will I price these?
      • As I have seen pricing concerns in the past, and don't care to deal with the "price police," I will grab the most recent/least expensive price for each part here on HWS and list it in the PCPP list. Then I'll take some sort of large discount off the top of the total build.
      • I'm not really trying to deal with lowballers so please do not send me unreasonable offers, as I said, these are almost all new parts (even if they are older) and I know how much everything is worth.
    • How will I select who gets the build?

      • To fit the 280mm Radiator, I had to fit it at the top of the case and put the fans as an intake in the front of the H200i. The thermals on this thing have never been a problem since testing and have been outstanding overall. For further questions about this "mod" please ask!
      • For a slight upcharge, I can include a new set of Cablemod sleeved white cable extensions ($25) and an RGB Wraith Cooler ($25) that is slightly better thermally than the non-RGB one included.
      • I can also include a gaming monitor/mouse/keyboard if a full setup is needed, just let me know what your budget is!

    Happy Holidays everyone. I hope yours is going better than mine so far. It could be worse though...

    Let me make this quick as I can. A friend of mine asked me about getting his kids into pc gaming with him. They have consoles, but of course "Let's Play" YouTube has started to corrupt their minds. After going through options with him, these concoctions of PCs grew from his follow up questions. I'd like to say it was a fun build but, no it sucked having to get the various adapters sent or rewiring extensions. And a bad RX570.

    So when I told him I needed a bit more time, he told me that something came up and he wouldn't be able to pay. Now here we are. I know this is a long intro, but I felt like I needed to explain why I have 3 almost identical systems for sale.

    They are all running 4th gen Intels, a WD Black 500gb 2.5" hdd, a new 240gb Gigabyte SSD, all new Rosewill Zircon cases and fans, 650w PSUs, and Lenovo m73 motherboards with the OEM coolers and 1600mhz RAM. My idea was to give him a base that they could grow with and figured the boards, cpus, and coolers could all be changed once they knew what they liked without a huge cost upfront. No case or psu wires were hurt during this process, so standard motherboards can be used later. Plus, they come with Windows 10 Pro included. Things vary slightly from here…

    System1(Green Rgb) – this was going to be his since it has an i7. Figured he could use the extra power. -Intel i7-4770(nonk) -12gb ram -Zotac GTX 970 4gb

    System2(Blue Rgb) -I5-4590(non-k) -12gb ram -MSI Armor RX570 4gb

    System3(Purple Rgb) – Originally had identical parts as System2, but parts were faulty so I used some of my emergency stuff to get it out of here. -I5-4590(non-k) -8gb ram -XFX R9 380 4gb (I also have a Sapphire RX470 8gb Mining version I can replace this with. I figured I would give the buyer the option since it is the model with no video output. But there are ways around this.)

    Now for the asking prices. System1- (i7/gtx 970) = $275 plus shipping System2- (i5/rx570) = $250 plus shipping System3- (i5/r9 380) = $225 plus shipping

    All systems will ship in the Rosewill box to help protect them, but I have never shipped a full pc and have no idea what to expect price wise. I am willing to work something out if needed.

    I wish I could have helped my friend out, but I am essentially just trying to get my money back. I can always walk him through the process in the future. Hopefully someone can use these.

    I prefer to sell these altogether to make it easy on shipping. I will include the EK Plexi D5 Pump/Res combo, 2x360 radiators (one EK and one XSPC). I will also throw in 4 rotary fittings and 10 compression fittings for soft tubing. Everything will be cleaned prior to shipping. Nothing has been used for more than a couple months and the pump runs like new! I can also throw in the AM4 waterblock as well, though the RGB on it doesn't work, but never effected performance or anything else.

    Here for sale is 2x16GB set of Corsair DOMINATOR PLATINUM RGB 3000MHz CAS15 Samsung B-die RAM set.

     

    The only use these memory sticks have seen is a memtest86 run with XMP enabled on a 7980XE/Rampage VI APEX (1DPC). Other than that, they've never been used for anything else.

    Overclocked briefly to 3200 14-15-15-30 and 3600 17-17-17-36 at 1.45v. YMMV on stability, I don't put a guarantee on it.

     

    All of the Memory chips are Samsung B-die. Great for overclocking and has tight timings compared to other manufacturers.

    As you can tell, I was not the best at cabling/wiring when I first started building PCs, but it still runs fine and will play almost any game at 1080p 60+fps. The CPU/GPU temp screenshot was taken after playing Battlefield 4 and Path of Exiles (only games already installed) on medium settings. Even though the CPU and GPU idle temps are kind of high, due to only having two main case fans, they never really pass 75/70C respectively under regular load. I will be zeroing the two drives tonight so it will also be ready to go with a fresh Windows Pro install.

    The PC currently has 1 drive bay installed, but as shown in the images, the additional drive bay, as well as a second enclosure with 2 more bays, will be included. The second enclosure can be installed directly below the currently installed one. You will be able to expand to an additional 3 drives down the road as necessary.

    Looking for 250$ Local(+shipping if it comes to that)/OBO. Hoping to sell locally first. Local is 60031 - but I can also make it to the other side of the county at 60061. If I am unable to sell this, I will then consider parting out.

    NOTE: I will be driving down to Urbana-Champaign (61801) this Saturday to pick up a friend, so if you will be available during that Saturday afternoon, and are local to that area, we can work something out there.

    Selling this baby for $100 shipped. I'm the original owner, never mined, just light gaming now and then. I upgraded to a 1080ti so I'd like to give her a new home, hopefully someone looking for a budget build for Christmas. I believe I still have the original box with all its parts if I can find it, but not sure.
