    I've been getting into keyboards and after having some success restoring my personal Corsair Strafe and modding a few other keyboards I've been picking up some dis-used boards and bringing a touch of keyboard enthusiast love to them. Each board probably takes between 10-14 hours of work to restore / mod.

    These sound and type substantially better than stock boards (even new)

    All restored boards were purchased on either r/hardwareswap or r/mechmarket and have been DEEP cleaned. This means full disassembly, upper switch housing, stems, stabs, and keycaps are cleaned in a diluted Simple Green solution. Aluminum plates are cleaned with a soft bristle toothbrush and wiped clean with 91% isopropyl alcohol. Mods are applied and everything is re-assembled and tested.

    Prices include shipping, if you have any questions drop me a PM (chats will likely go un-noticed)

    $55 - Modded 60% Skyloong RGB AK61 (Optical Hotswap) - Used (like new); Opened to mod and test

    • Gateron Red Optical Switches lubed (SuperLube 1:2 mix [51004/21030]), and filmed (Durock)
    • Stabilizers replaced with Durock plate mount stabs, originals were terrible; lubed, and tape applied to the plate to tighten up the mounts
    • Butyl rubber sound dampening layer and 2mm EVA foam added inside keyboard case

    $40 - Drevo Calibur v1 RGB (TKL minus function row) - modified keyboard

    • Outemu Brown with RGB led; Note unlike my other boards, this has not been de-soldered and lubed due to the 6 point switch contacts for the LEDs
    • Stabilizers lubed
    • Butyl rubber sound dampening layer and 2mm EVA foam added inside keyboard case
    • Converted to USB C (see timestamps as I have epoxied around the area I had to Dremel out, shouldn't be noticeable in normal use)
    • For an extra $10 will include the pictured Akko Neon keycaps which have been o-ring modded
    • (issue) Removed the small battery pack during the USB C conversion, so this is no longer wireless
    • (issue) Does not include USB C cable, but now that it's converted should use any standard cable

    $80 - Corsair K70 - restored / modified keyboard

    • Cherry MX Switches de-soldered, cleaned, lubed (SuperLube 1:2 mix [51004/21030]), and filmed (Durock)
    • Akko switches were lubed only, no film required. 17 original switches replaced all in the arrow key and numpad cluster
    • Springs were lubed with SuperLube 51004
    • Stabilizers were clipped, lubed, and tape applied to the plate to tighten up the mounts
    • Butyl rubber sound dampening layer and 2mm EVA foam added inside keyboard case

    • All switches, RGB, media keys, and USB passthrough functioning

    • (issue) Minor scuffing on the aluminum plate as is to be expected from a used board

    • (issue) Does not come with wrist rest or front adjustable feet

    • (issue) BIOS button has been broken internally; I have set the BIOS to "1" which is the fastest (1000Hz) polling; All newer boards do not have this feature anyway as less than 1000Hz is not needed except for legacy hardware

    • (issue) Volume knob screw cover broke on disassembly; It has been epoxy glued back together, but may break again if you take it off; Not noticeable otherwise

    $85 - Corsair K70 MK.II - restored / modified keyboard

    • Cherry MX Switches de-soldered, cleaned, lubed (SuperLube 1:2 mix [51004/21030]), and filmed (Durock)
    • Springs were lubed with SuperLube 51004
    • Stabilizers were clipped, lubed, and tape applied to the plate to tighten up the mounts; Spacebar stab replaced with Durock plate mount
    • Butyl rubber sound dampening layer and 2mm EVA foam added inside keyboard case
    • All switches, RGB, media keys, and USB passthrough functioning
    • Comes with wrist rest and (worn) WASD textured keys
    • Any damaged keycaps have been replaced from a matching Corsair set
    • (issue) Minor scuffing on the aluminum plate as is to be expected from a used board
    • (issue) The USB cable has what looks like cat teeth marks on the "Y", this does not effect the board and will not be seen in normal use
