    2080 super with bitspower water block. Water block needs to be cleaned, otherwise I recommend getting a new one for it. I do not have the air cooler anymore, no box either. This was used for about 6 months and sat for an additional 3 months.

    Hi everyone! I have a few successfully modded mice for sale.

    I tested these mice for at least 10 hours of productivity (2 workdays) and 4 hours of gaming each and noticed no issues whatsoever. Both are fully functional, fully responsive to the G Hub software, and feel fantastic. I should've taken photos of the mice open with the new switches to prove I did the work, but hindsight is 20/20, and I don't want to break something opening them back up all the way. I think I even have the old Omron switches laying around still.

    Modded G703 Lightspeed HERO Sensor - $70 shipped

    • Love the G703 design? Is it a perfect fit for your hand? Have you been through several mice already because they keep double-clicking or driving you nuts scrolling the wrong way? Well oh boy, do I have the mouse for you!
    • Comes with the G703 wireless receiver, USB adapter, USB cable, and 10g weight in a G703 box.
    • Replaced the faulty stock scroll encoder with a new, updated encoder. The updated design prevents the notorious "reverse scroll" issue in which the mouse occasionally registers a scroll in the opposite direction.
      • The scroll wheel feels essentially the same as the stock one but should last way longer. Fairly light activation force, almost silent, distinct bump when scrolling slowly but able to scroll quickly and smoothly. Feels great for a quick flick in-game for zooming/key binding but controlled enough to do distinct notches to swap weapons or move along a hotbar accurately.
      • This was the hardest thing to fix because of how many solder joints the encoder has, and I fried two daughter boards on another G703 and a G403 before getting it right on this one.
    • Replaced the stock Omron left and right click switches with Kailh GM 2.0 switches. These switches do not experience the same quick failure rate that causes the notorious "double-click" issues in these HERO mice.
      • The new switches feel like a premium version of the stock switches: roughly the same actuation force (fairly light, better for gaming than stiffer aftermarket options like the GM 8.0), but a much crisper and solid-feeling click when activated. I think they have a more pleasant sound, too (less hollow/plastic-y type sound). These switches feel excellent and are ready for 20 million more clicks. I really had to talk myself out of keeping this one just to keep using the switches myself.
    • Battery life is excellent. I suppose a benefit of the mice failing so quickly is that they don't go through as many charge cycles.
    • The rubber grips on the sides show a tiny bit of smoothing, but no marks or grooves. Tried to show this in the photos.
    • Because I had to use a black model for practice, and this one came in white, I can swap the shell and left/right click covers for the black ones. If you're serious about buying, just ask nicely. I left the skates off the bottom so I could do the swap if requested, but I will put them back on before shipping once the decision on color is made.
    • I believe with my mods, I've fixed the longevity issues of this mouse and made it a bit more premium-feeling. My hope is to find a G703 fanboy who wants to stick with this design for years to come. After buying $18+$14 in mice for parts, plus $30 in tools/switches/encoders to do the repairs for a total of $62 invested, I'm really just trying to roughly break even after shipping.

    Modded G502 Wired HERO Sensor - $30 shipped

    • Are you an avid subscriber to /r/G502MasterRace but had to settle for another model after getting spooked by the double-click issues on the newer models? This one's for you!
    • Comes with the weight set in a G502 SE box.
    • Replaced the stock Omron left and right click switches with Kailh GM 2.0 switches.
      • Same notes as in the G703: these switches feel excellent. Just the right lightness for quick shots and very clicky, perfect for gaming.
    • All of the other switches in the mouse appeared to be a different type, so I left them alone. Even the other switches on the top of the PCB that looked the same had a different label. The quickly-failing 20M Omrons had "20M" printed on the side; the rest had a different model number without it or were a different shape
    • The rubber grip on the thumb side has a small groove just beneath the side buttons. It wasn't noticeable in my testing, and if you actually rest your thumb on the wing, you probably won't even feel it.

    Extra G703/G403 Parts - $15 plus shipping

    • I have bits and pieces of a G403 and another G703 Lightspeed from the repair process that might be useful to someone; I have an extra battery, main boards, shell/switch covers, etc. I also got an extra G703 wireless receiver and cable. I'd kind of like to keep these in case I get any more offers for a G703 to fix, but if anyone would like the bundle and I don't get any offers to buy any, $15 plus shipping, should be able to ship around $10 depending on destination. I can give more details about the parts if interested.

    If you have any high-end Logitech mice that are double-clicking that you got to keep after the RMA process, I may be interested in buying them. Specifically looking for G Pro Wireless, GPW x Superlight, G502 Lightspeed, G305 Lightspeed, and maybe others. I don't think I really want to keep buying up the cheaper models when shipping cost eats up most of my margin, but like I explained in my last post, if I can reduce your net cost for a new mouse by a decent amount (by buying the faulty one for a few bucks while you keep the new one from the RMA) and then repair it to use myself or resell, it's a win-win for both of us. Just let me know and we can discuss.
