AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT Meta Review: 8 reviews & 1990 benchmarks compiled Posted: 30 Aug 2021 02:23 AM PDT - compilation of 8 launch reviews with ~1990 gaming benchmarks at all resolutions
- only benchmarks at real games compiled, not included any 3DMark & Unigine benchmarks
- geometric mean in all cases
- only launch reviews with complete adoption of rBAR & SAM were evaluated
- standard performance without ray-tracing and/or DLSS/FSR, extra ray-tracing benchmarks at 1080p resolution
- stock performance on (usual) reference/FE boards, no overclocking
- factory overclocked cards used: 3060 on Igor's, 6600XT on GameStar, Igor's, Le Comptoir & Tweakers, 6700XT on GameStar
- factory overclocked cards normalized to reference clocks/performance, but just for the overall performance average
- performance average is (moderate) weighted in favor of reviews with more benchmarks
- power consumption for the GPU only, no system power draw
- for the full results and some more explanations check 3DCenter's launch analysis

This is not only about the rBAR/SAM feature, but also about the partial use of old benchmark values, which were still set up with 2020 drivers. This is simply a no-go in terms of accuracy and the exact recording of the correct performance differences. Some hardware testers should finally make a move to replace old test configurations with updated ones. Source: 3DCenter.org submitted by /u/Voodoo2-SLi [link] [comments] |

Where is the FPS/Watt sweet spot in graphics cards? Posted: 31 Aug 2021 02:46 AM PDT I saw that the 3070TI has a much higher power draw than the 3070 and it barely had better fps... Would a 3070TI perform like a 3070 if I put the power settings to match the 3070 in afterburner? I noticed my 1080 running much quieter and having barely any fps drop on -15% to -20% power submitted by /u/nofakeaccount2244 [link] [comments] |
