Cleaning circuit boards and battery terminals Posted: 04 May 2021 12:07 AM PDT Not sure if this is the right sub to post in....but Recently I discovered my old Wii remotes, and the batteries are very badly leaked. to the point of blue liquid pooling up around, I've not opened up the controllers yet but I can safely assume the battery has entered the motherboards and circuitries for sure. Is there any way to clean/save them? Also, how far can a battery leak go before a device is surely acknowledged to be unsalvageable? Thanks! [link] [comments] |
