Memory OC potential seems to be limited on Intel 11th gen. 11700K is limited to around 3733 MHz MAX in 1:1 RAM:IMC ratio

It looks like a huge deal to me.

A lot of users with 11700K are reporting max 1:1 memory frequency of around 3733 MT/s +-. After that a no-boot wall. Or 1:2 ratio and 10ns+ penalty to latency.

just one example (more in the same topic) https://www.overclock.net/threads/overclocking-11700k-11900k-results-bins-and-discussion.1777365/page-11#post-28753620

It seems like a huge step backwards from skylake and 10th gen where you can do up to 4500-4700 MHz RAM 1:1 if your IMC is strong enough.
