    Of course there is a catch. These were the last of my mining cards and this rig sat too close to my saltwater fish tank. As a result the fans would catch on to the salty air and then drop that on the heatsinks. The heatsinks are all corroded from the salt, but the cards themselves are perfectly functional. They sell heatsinks with fans from china on ebay for $50 and you would be back in business, or you could remove the heatsink and run water. If you really wanted to you could just run it as is and crank the fan it will still work.

    I included pictures of one I attempted to clean up with alcohol, and a couple pictures of what they look like uncleaned.

    I also have a seasonic 1200w Gold that was used in my desktop, this was never used from mining and it also didnt sit next to my aquarium. This one was safely in my office. I just dont need something this big. All cables included.

    Hey hws,

    I'm ISO some goodies to aid the aesthetic & quality of my build. I figure before I go searching online that I'd give this a go. I'm currently looking for:

    • a mid size tower, as my current one has suffered so many scratches and dings i think it's about time to replace it. i would prefer one with any type of window within the black/white color scheme.
    • a mechanical keyboard (please, no razer) with any switches that aren't blues or reds. hotswappable is a plus but i don't really mind if it isn't
    • a mouse (again, just no razer products) i'm not too concerned about DPI or brand, just want something larger with more than 2 buttons so I can incorporate them into my daily workflow
    • a mouse pad or desk pad, the bigger the better but any size is good enough for me
    • I also have use for things like case fans and cable sleeves, and if anyone has anything they think would be useful and want to get rid of, I won't be opposed

    I'm local to RI, MA and CT and willing to meet halfway to anywhere within those locations.
