    Hey so every once in a while I put out the shout that I buy vintage computer parts. Preferably in working order but I can certainly be persuaded into buying untested cards (especially if you have multiple) if the price is right. Basically I collect and restore them, and use them for various comparisons and research into the evolution of computer technology. I guess I'm really just a functional tech-hoarder. I particularly have a hard-on for graphics cards. Here is just a few specific models I'm looking for right now:

    • Any 3DFX Cards
    • AGP NVIDIA Cards, especially mid to high end GeForce FX and GeForce6 series cards.
    • PCIe GeForce FX (otherwise known as GeForce PCX) and GeForce 6,7,8,9, 200 and 400 series cards.
    • Various ATI Models: X700, X800, X1800XT, HD2900XT, HD3870, HD 3870X2, HD4870X2, HD5870X2, etc

    If you have something that isn't listed here feel free to let me know, the worst I can do is say I'm not interested.

    As of right now, I am NOT selling ANY of these parts separately. This listing is for the whole build, no exceptions. The ram and NVMe are already attached to the motherboard as pictured. PSU is also installed into the case with the necessary cables. I will provide the extras to you upon meetup. The cooler has factory TIM preinstalled on it, but I can provide you with higher-quality Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut or Arctic MX-4 for a small price if you're uncomfortable with that (highly unnecessary, as the stock paste is good enough for a 65W CPU). Upon meetup, I will gladly provide you with full instructions, tips, and other disclosures if you're a bit new to PC building. I've been building and selling PCs to friends and family since 2008 when the first Core i7 came into the world.

    Most of these parts were brand new/unused or barely used/open box/refurbs. The CPU, SSD, ram, and motherboard were all brand new prior to a brief 5-10 minute testing. The motherboard was installed in-case for 10 minutes to post test. I have the original box to a few of the parts, including the motherboard, SSD, CPU, case, and the fans. I can provide better timestamps after work--just took a quick snap of things in the meantime so this listing can be up and running to gauge interest.

    My wife and I spend most of our time running our shop, Sakurai Armory, where we design and print custom computer fan grills/shrouds/covers. We are also avid redditors, so this seems like the perfect place to reach out.

    Q/A Section for reference:

    • What are these made of?
      • PLA plastic with 50% infill.

    ​

    • How do these affect airflow?
      • Airflow changes vary from grill to grill, but the majority of our designs have a minimal impact on airflow. We have typically found that grills that cover less than 50% of the fan's surface area have the least impact on airflow, so most of our covers have been designed to cover less than 50%. It is noteworthy that the center of the fan is "dead space" that does not contribute to airflow - the fan blades are the really critical area.

    • How do these affect temperatures?
      • Temperatures correlate with airflow, so it varies from grill to grill. When testing with a Hyper 212 BE on a Ryzen 7 3700, less restrictive fan grill designs (<35% coverage) caused a 1-4c increase in CPU temperature on average, whereas more obstructive fan grill designs (>60% coverage) caused a 7-10c increase depending on how obstructive they were.
      • It's noteworthy that this test was performed directly on the CPU cooler, which is a worst case scenario. If mounted on the case itself, temperatures are expected to change less than these values assuming that airflow is otherwise good.

    • How do these affect noise levels?
      • Once again, this varies from grill to grill. On average, our grills add about 1-3db to their mounted fan which is difficult to notice but less practical designs like the Empire or Republic logo that cover >60% of the fans surface area can add 5-8db. (which can be offset by adjusting fan speed)

    My X250 is in great condition, as it's basically never been used outside of my desk, and even so, rarely used in general. It has a pretty fancy SSD in it -- a Samsung 850 Pro 1TB -- which cost about as much as the computer originally. I'm Paris-based, but I'm happy to mail it wherever, and since the computer is so light, shipping isn't very expensive. I have a new carrying sleeve from Lenovo that's included also. I'm asking for roughly $450/€400. Happy to answer any questions!

    This is a Nintendo Switch bought on release day. Serial is in the imgur album. Please research or have a basic working knowledge of the risks of Switches with CFW. I have not gone online since adding CFW so I do not know if it is banned or not, however the known precautions have been made to use CFW to minimize risk of a banned console along with having used incognito mode.

    Included:

    -Original dock

    -Original charger

    -Original HDMI cable

    -Original Box

    -Joy con straps & controller adapter

    -RCM jig w/ case (not jig loader)

    -SanDisk 128GB microSD card

    -3 unused NTAG215 for custom amiibos

    -Screen protector installed

    Will also include a zip file of the SXOS key code, along with original backup image of the sysNAND. This zip file will be placed in the Sandisk 128GB microSD card which will already be installed in the Switch.

    Couple things to note: The CFW background/theme will be black. If booting up in non CFW mode, the background/theme will be white. All games have been wiped. I will be shipping the Switch powered off. This will require you to boot up the switch into CFW otherwise you will automatically be booted into non CFW mode. There's no problem with this, just make sure not to disable airplane mode and reboot into CFW. Again, the CFW is SXOS.

    Includes all original cables, but as I don't have the box, this will be for a local sale only. (I'm not far from the W 72nd St. 1/2/3.) Also including the gen. 1 VESA adapter (which won't work without some finagling, but you might have more luck than I did).

    I'm only selling because this monitor is not VESA-mountable, at least not without machining a part to make it work with the gen. 1 adapter.

    Other than that, this monitor is seriously great: with its built-in camera, you too can be the 1080p star of your Zoom meetings! The 2160p IPS display is really nice. And Thunderbolt 3 is just so damn convenient. (It also has DP and HDMI ports.)

    The speakers kind of suck, but that's to be expected from built-in monitor speakers.

    I was able to drive this monitor no problem with both a 2018 Thinkpad X1C6 and a 2020 MacBook Air.

    Have a very lightly used ASUS ROG Strix XG248Q monitor as well as it's original box, display port cable, USB-A to USB-B cable, power cord, and small plastic discs that adjust what light is displayed out the base of the monitor. It was used for less than 3 months before upgrading to an ultrawide, and the only time it's been on since has been to post test a new PC.
