Posted: 16 Sep 2020 12:42 AM PDT Based on Scythe's spec sheet (https://www.scythe.co.jp/product/fan/aya-kaze12-add/ ), Aya-Kaze fan has a maximum RPM of 1500RPM, maximum sound of 28.6 dBA, maximum airflow of 69.11CFM, and a static pressure of 3.35 mmH2O. This literally blows Noctua's NF-A12x25 out of the water and probably any other modern fan out there. Why is this fan unknown? I've been searching for any English article or review about it but there's none I can find. It's only just Japanese. [link] [comments] |

IBM OpenPOWER A2O core (Power ISA 2.07) released on Github Posted: 15 Sep 2020 11:14 AM PDT https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=IBM-OpenPOWER-A2O https://github.com/openpower-cores/a2o https://github.com/openpower-cores/a2o/blob/master/rel/doc/A2O_UM.pdf IBM releases a 2nd "open core" on Github, with full Verilog / VHDL, allowing FPGA users to synthesize this core and potentially play with it on their own machines. IBM's earlier A2I core was Power ISA 2.06 compliant, and it seems like A2O is a modification to the A2I core to 2.07 compliance. [link] [comments] |
