    I am trying to "budget build" Nephew a PC the likes of which will compete against the upcoming Xbox Series X (so capable of 4k, 60 fps on medium-high settings basically) so in order to do so I'm looking for an assortments of parts I will list in hopes people have one or many of I can purchase. The only part I'm currently really budgeting on is the GPU since I will buy him a much better one new when newer generation parts with better ray tracing tech come out.I also want to make note I am absolutely all for purchasing an entire PC if the specs are rock solid and will be something that my Nephew can use for at least the next 5 years before he will want to upgrade should Xbox come out with a new revision for the Series X. (basically like xbox one X) But if you're trying to sell me a whole PC or multiple parts you'll want to react fast as I can't wait forever to start buying individual parts to build. Thank you in advance for your understanding and I will update post as needed!

    GPU:

    • R9 470/570 4gb/8gb or whatever equiv for a good price you can sell to me at...

    I'm not going hard here like I stated. Just want a solid 1080p graphics card that will let my Nephew play games on ultra at 60fps roughly and have fun until he gets the new gpu down the road that has better ray tracing tech when they're more affordable.

    CPU:

    • r7 2700x/3700/3700x ,
    • 8th/9th gen intel in the i5/i7 line up as long as it has good 4k performance.

    Need a top of the line but not crazy tip-top of the line like an i9.

    RAM:

    • 16gb - 32gb of DDR4 at 2600-3400 mhz

    I am happy to take offers at different mhz speeds don't be shy feel free to throw them at me. Ideally 16gb should be enough but it doesn't hurt to grab a 32gb if the deal is straight. Thanks!

    MOBO:

    • Shoot offers at me, I will update my list accordingly if I buy an intel or amd cpu so you don't waste your own time. If you have mobo/cpu bundles PLEASE send offers my way thank you!

    CASE:

    • I want something with good airflow above anything else. Airflow as in good quality fans that you can ideally showcase working as expected, and has room enough for the parts to be spaced appropriately.
    • Basically don't need micro atx case.
    • Don't care if the case is plastic, metal, has a cool window or AMAZING LED's. Sure the Nephew wants a "gaming PC" but performance is better than looks.

    PSU:

    • Avoiding PSU purchases by themselves and will buy a new one likely.
    • Will be likely alright with purchasing a PSU if it's combo'd and can prove it works on a system no problems as well as can identify brand/model. Thanks!
    • If it's a PC you built you're selling I'm of course alright with a PSU as part of the package as long as you can identify the brand/model and then show in case that it works as expected. Thank you!

    Memory/storage:

    • So long as the speed is decent and it's not one of the unknown brands with no specs.
    • Need 1-2tb depending on price offers.
    • WD is fine like blue for example as long as it's 1tb minimum. I'm not against budget SSD's.
    • Don't really need an HDD. I will be skipping it and just putting the budget towards the SSD. Thank you!

    Peripherals:

    • Clean preferred.
    • Something solid like a Logitech is preferred. Good price mice that are all around solid.
    • A comfortable keyboard. Doesn't need to be mechanical but as long as it's not too loud the Nephew might prefer a mech KB. But shoot me whatever you want!
    • LED's and all that jazz are not discouraged as I'm sure he'd appreciate the "gamer" aesthetic. Lol.

    Hey everyone,

    During the quarantine I decided to test out some other gpus. I found one worth upgrading for and went for it! As you can tell by the title, this card has been modded.

    Quick Facts:

    • This is a reference card, originally coming in the blower style shown when it was released July 2019
    • The blower style cooling was/is shit
    • I had a third-party cooler (ARCTIC Accelero Xtreme IV) installed professionally. This is the best cooler I could find with triple fans and great reviews
    • This card has the base and boost clocks of an RX 5700 XT due to the flashed BIOS and will appear in your system as an RX 5700 XT as a result
    • The card works great and has no temp issues anymore
