How is AMD able to compete with Intel and Nvidia?

    Posted: 22 Apr 2020 07:43 PM PDT

Not only does AMD have 11,000+ employees compared to Nvidia's 13,000+ and Intel's massive 110,000+, AMD also creates CPU and GPU components while Intel only handles CPUs and Nvidia only handles GPUs. How is it possible that AMD is able to compete with their competitors when AMD has: Far less employees than both Intel and Nvidia and they focus on both GPUs and CPUs while Intel and Nvidia are able to focus the entirety of their efforts on the respective components they manufacture? I can't see how AMD manages to compete with Nvidia, and even outperform Intel.
