[USA-OH][H]Nintendo Switch bundle, Smash Bros Ultimate, Switch Pro Controller [W]Local Cash, Paypal

    Posted: 18 Dec 2019 06:18 AM PST

Got some bad news and I need a bit more money for the holiday season.

Switch for $235. Comes with HDMI, AC power, dock, joy-cons (gray), and a 128GB SD card. Does NOT include the joy-con straps or the controller thing for them.

Smash bros has no case, unfortunately. I'll do $30 for the cart itself.

Pro controller has about 50 hours in it, I think. No drift thus far. Take it solo for $38, or do it plus Smash for $60.

Take it all for $275. Prices are shipped. Local is 44730 and I'll knock some off for meeting locally.

[USA-IL] [H] Full Build - Asus 2080 ti, ROG STRIX X299, 7640X, +1300w 80+ Gold, many others [W] Local Cash or Verified PayPal SELLING

    Posted: 17 Dec 2019 11:16 PM PST

    12 Builds of Christmas 8/12

This is the most insane build so far... It is full of "bests" (see below) and is either overkill or pushing the limits for most people, while also leaving room for upgrades now or later!

    • Fastest quad-core processor
    • Fastest nvme drive
    • Fastest GPU (non-titan)
    • Best (coolest) refillable AIO
    • One of (if not the best) air-cooled RGB/HEDT motherboard
    • One of the best and most powerful 80+ Gold PSUs

I know I might get some questions for these claims, but they are all valid and if you have questions about them, shoot me a PM :)

(For those that saw my previous builds, feel free to skip down to the bottom)

Happy Holidays Swappers! This season I am feeling rather giving and am selling 12 builds at a significant loss to me, but that means a win for 12 lucky people :)

    To answer a few questions:

    • Why am I doing this?
      • I was blessed this year with the news that I have my first child on the way. This means I need to raise funds for the ridiculous cost of baby items as well as make room in our house (my old PC workshop is turning into the baby's room).
      • I am feeling rather generous this year.
    • What am I selling?
      • PC builds for various budgets. All are new or like-new. Very few parts will have more use than standard testing for functionality.
    • How will I price these?
      • As I have seen pricing concerns in the past, and don't care to deal with the "price police," I will grab the most recent/least expensive price for each part here on HWS and list it in the PCPP list. Then I'll take some sort of large discount off the top of the total build.
      • I'm not really trying to deal with lowballers so please do not send me unreasonable offers, as I said, these are almost all new parts (even if they are older) and I know how much everything is worth.
    • How will I select who gets the build?
      • Local cash and carry is preferred (60614 is the zip)
      • In general, I will go by first come, first served.
    • What is in this build?
      • See below!

Before it goes back to the store as a return, offering to other hardwareswappers in the area that may still be on the search for one.

$800. Must be willing to meet at Gaithersburg or Rockville/Bethesda area.

Also have a asus crosshair viii impact d-itx mb if anyone is interested in that.

Regarding shipping, I would ship it, but would be too much of a hassle with PP fees and shipping/insurance.

Trying yet again. Hopefully not crazy lowball offers. If this is a gift i will make sure it gets there before xmas. Bought this on Nov 13th from Microsoft Store, with the intent on doing some light pc game playing like Idle clickers or maybe some WoW. But with the new baby haven't really had the time or space to really play. Looking to off load this to get a smaller and more portable laptop. I bought this then upgraded the ram to 32GB and installed faster and larger SSD drives. Mint condition and barely any use. I have all the original boxes and will include some other stuff with the laptop as well. My loss is your gain.

Hoping to sell this asap. Any questions or offers please message me.

    Posted: 17 Dec 2019 06:58 PM PST

    No DMs PLEASE.

It hasn't been a problem yet, but I WILL NEVER MESSAGE YOU FIRST. Please post in this thread and then message me. I'm not looking to sell all these CPUs in one go, unless you can pay out all in one go.

The title says it all. I was going to just have a mass sale early next year, but apparently I gotta let this go before the end of the year.

A quick summary for those not interested in looking back through my posts is that I work for a facility that disposes of these CPUs when their retail packaging goes missing. They get sent to us as they are, so usually a certain retailer messes with them for whatever reason, and then they get sent to us to reprocess, but they don't accept these back, so we usually just chuck' em.

    Pictures can be found here.

I don't know if I will sell all of the i9s this week, because paypal is finicky about (me) selling a lot of one item, they usually freeze my funds after 4 or 5 sales, understandably so.

Everything SHIPS THURSDAY at the earliest.

    CPU Price Quantity Condition
R9 3900X $450 (Shipping included) 0 Like-new, used only for testing. No box, clamshell only.
i9-9900K $410 (Shipping included) 10 6 Like-new, used only for testing. No box, clamshell only.

    Sold x1 R9 3900X to u/seanettles
    Sold x3 i9-9900K to u/Mstro1a
    Sold x1 i9-9900k to u/ImmaGrumpyOldMan
    Pending x2 i9 to u/Kristoferen

All my registered sales in this subreddit are almost all from selling high-end CPUs, if there's anything wrong with them I can refund them if you've tested them out thoroughly and they still don't work. I get a lot of messages from buyers saying some don't work, but after rebuilding their PC, or simply updating BIOS, things work well.

Are you tired of people making fun of you? Tired of your parents telling you they don't love you? Passed up for a promotion to that shitty coworker? Well, I can't help you with any of those, but I can offer you a sweet escape from reality with some retail therapy.

I have a baby on the way in April and this is all my extra tech laying around. Prices are all OBO - so feel free to make a reasonable offer and we can go from there. If you are local, even better because I can offer better prices and throw in a few extra things since we're cleaning out the apartment in preparation for a house move.

Corsair One i160 9900k/2080ti both watercooled, 32gb ram, 480gb nvme, 2tb HDD: It's got cool RGB, wooooooh - $2250 shipped - Don't have the box anymore.

Beats Studio 3 (cubed?) Wireless - $135 shipped - These things are pretty decent, surprising with Beats history of terrible frequency response and just awful audio in general. Great battery life, sound is much beefier than I expected. Have the original box.

Razer X Core Chroma with a Radeon 5700 XT - $670 shipped- Works really well with a Macbook setup. Simple thunderbolt 3 plug into your laptop and it works out of the box. If you're wondering what the difference is, the Chroma has pride lighting, 4 USB ports, ethernet, and USB from the core to your laptop. Feel free to ask any questions.

Yamaha HS7 Pair + Stand + PreSonus Amp - $500 (local only) - Selling the sound setup locally. Just plug in via USB to your PC. I have all cables, including the nice expensive ones that connect/power the speakers, the speakers themselves, and the two speaker stands is everything you'll get at the $500 mark.

All items will be invoiced via PayPal unless you're local, then you can just give me that good cash. I'll be posting some other stuff in the near future as I dig up more tech. Cheers and happy holidays to everyone.

Local is 33701 (Downtown St. Petersburg) - I will be in South Florida from Dec 23 - Dec 28th.

    READ THIS NEXT SENTENCE FIRST

SAS drives, which are about half of what is being sold here, are NOT the same as SATA and are NOT compatible with most consumer systems. they are made for server use and require a SAS card to use. Please do NOT buy any SAS drives if you are unsure. Incompatibility is not an acceptable reason for a return/refund.

In addition, 3PAR drives are even more selective. They only work in highly specialized systems. If you do not know what 3PAR is, please do not order any.

Alright guys, time to rock and roll.

I work at a recycling center and manage the electronics recycling. Half of what I do is try to save computer equipment from an otherwise untimely death as scrap metal.

The following list is a collection of drives that I have amassed over the last year. My shelves are full of them, and it is simply time for them to go. Almost all of these are from data center turnovers. It is common in my area for them to turn over drives after 1-2 years of use regardless of functional status. These drives were the lucky ones that did not require physical destruction following the turnovers.

    Timestamps:

    https://imgur.com/a/XBUK1ke

    To discuss testing. . .

    • Testing was performed using CrystalDiskInfo, CrystalDiskMark and Seatools. This included SMART status, Long generic and Long DST. I'm not terribly familiar with enterprise hardware, so I am testing them with the same methodology as I do consumer drives.
    • Any unusual sounds (i.e. clicking, grinding) counted as an instant fail, regardless of test outcomes.
    • 3PAR devices were unable to be tested, as they require specialized servers that I do not have access to. However, they will be treated as functional with a full money back guarantee. Prior sales have shown low failure rates for 3PAR.
    • "Bad" drives (i.e. those with a few bad sectors, noise, no power, etc) will be sold in a separate post if you are interested.
    • According to Seatools and CrystalDiskInfo, the majority of these drives have been in use for 10,000-30,000 hours, with some being under 5,000 and some being over 30,000. As a general rule, the higher capacity drives have been used for less hours and the lower capacity drives have been used longer.

Having said all of that, all of my drives will include a 30 day money back guarantee.

This money back guarantee includes the 3PAR drives that I was unable to test, as from prior sales on them, failure rates have been rather low (~10%).

And to discuss pricing and payment . . .

    • Prices are based off the average on eBay sold listings, marked down 20-35%.
    • Payment is via Paypal Goods and Services for both of our protection.
    • Offers can be made if you are buying several drives.
    • Shipping is via UPS Ground w/ tracking to ensure they arrive safely and is extra unless you buy at least $100 in drives. These things are heavy.
    • Comment before messaging me.

And with that, I suppose we should get started. Here we go.

Not looking to ship at this time, local pickup in NYC only, Brooklyn and Manhattan. Priced to go.

Echo Dot: $15 local, just received yesterday - never opened nor used. I got another one as a gift and can't return this as I've used Amazon promotional credit for it.

Accessport Ait: $10 local, never opened. Was an early backer but don't end up needing this.

Topping NX1: $10 local, decent headphone amp, used a handful of times since I got it.

Walnut v2: $15 local. Music player and portable amp. These things have power - and sound really good as its internal DAC is nothing to laugh at. Definitely enjoyed this one, look up the massive thread on head-fi for more info.

Cozoy Aegis: $70 local - a POWERFUL yet tiny plug and play Dac/Amp. It's worked on every device I've tried it on - iPhone, Android, PC, etc. It's loud, so be careful. If battery is not a concern, it's a great way to up the portable game without lugging around a huge portable DAC - pretty sure this is the smallest one commercially available, that I've seen anyway. Sounds great to my ears.

LiveWire Solutions Cable Tester: $10 pickup. Picked this up a few months back but I'm no engineer so it's of no use to me. Might need a li on battery, didn't come with one. Never used.

Feel free to reach out with any questions. No shipping unfortunately. Thanks!

[USA-CA] [H] Asrock Phantom Gaming 9 Z390 ATX Motherboard [W] Local Cash or PayPal

    Posted: 18 Dec 2019 08:24 AM PST

    Hey Swappers!

Selling the product mentioned in the title. It's brand new (just got it from the RMA department).

I was looking for around $210 shipped and $200 local (95014). I will not be taking offers because I haven't gotten a single offer from posting previously and this is the absolute lowest I am willing to go.

Please tell me if you think my price is unreasonable.

I will include all things that came with it (io shield, antennae, and invoice if you need to ever get an RMA) and it still has a year of warranty left.

Thanks for looking at my post!!!

    [USA-CA] [H] iPhone XS Max, Google Pixel 3XL, i9 9900k [W] Paypal, Local Cash

    Posted: 18 Dec 2019 08:22 AM PST

    Sup Hardwareswap!

    Three items for sale today:

    1. iPhone XS Max (Silver, 512GB, Unlocked): Excellent condition; used. Bought on r/appleswap a couple months ago. Battery is at 97%. The phone has no scratches anywhere, however, it does have light scuff marks all around the chrome/silver antenna band from the previous owner. I myself put it into an Apple silicone case once I bought it. I tried to capture them in the timestamps so that you can see them. Will come with original box and accessories, and aforementioned silicone case. Asking $800 shipped, $770 local.
    2. Goolge Pixel 3XL (Black, 128GB): Excellent condition; used. Bought directly from Google on launch, used for a couple of months before switching to a OnePlus 7 Pro. Has some minor discoloration (maybe chipped paint?) on the corner of the phone which I tried to showcase in the photos. However, they are truly minor and most people wouldn't notice it on first glance. There are no scratches anywhere on the phone (please ignore the marks on the screen, they are just finger print smudges) Asking $320 shipped, $300 local.
    3. i9 9900k: Mint condition; used. Not much to say on this one. Bought on r/hardwareswap from another user a couple of months back. Never overclocked as it was kept in a sffpc so was trying to keep thermals reasonable. Asking $400 shipped, $380 local.

Thanks for dropping by. Comment before messaging. All PRICES ARE OBO! LOCAL IS 90020 OR 91306.

    Posted: 18 Dec 2019 08:01 AM PST

Looking for some parts to move my NAS build into. Does not need to be pretty or nice, just need a rated name brand power supply (current one has _no_ markings on it) and a place to put stuff that isn't a literal hot box. If case does not include fans, I will need a few as well

Located in 75088 zip code for local deals. Trying to stay very cheap.

[USA-IL][H] Dell U3417W Ultrawide Monitor [W] Local Pickup, Cash

    Posted: 18 Dec 2019 07:25 AM PST

    Hey everyone!

I'm selling my Dell U3417W Ultrawide monitor. I've had it for about 5 months and it has been an amazing monitor. No dead pixels or issue with it whatsover. It is also still covered by Dell's warranty until January 22, 2022 (check the timestamp for proof).

I bought this monitor during a period where I was working from home and it was amazing for productivity. I will be going back to working in an office soon and also had to move my desk to an area with less room so I'm looking to downsize. It really is a beast of a monitor and one I couldn't recommend more.

I am looking for $450 local pickup for the monitor OBO. Id be willing to throw in the $100 AmazonBasics monitor arm as well as I won't be needing that anymore. Comes with the original box and all of the accessories/stand. I'm located in the western suburbs of Chicago.
