    Hello Reddit Fam,

    I need some help from you guys! I decided to do a needed build for a needy family with 3 children. They will be getting just this rig for Christmas. That's it.

    I have funded this out of my own pocket, and so far have a case,mobo,16GB of ram,250GB SSD, PSU, and a Dell 27" FreeSync LCD.

    What I need is a decent GPU for 1080P gaming. I am open to NVIDIA or AMD, but the LCD supports FreeSync over HDMI so AMD would be preferred.

    I was looking for something Along the lines of a RX470, RX480, RX570, RX580. Either a 4GB or 8GB would work. Would also gladly accept a 290/290X, 390X since they will support FreeSync.

    Team Green 970, 980, 1050 1050TI, 1060, would work as well.

    I do not have a very large budget, since I payed for the entire setup. Hoping someone here has a spare GPU they can offer!

    Looking for a sleeper gaming PC with all the creature comforts of a high-end system? Looking for a VR Rig that you could mount under your desk? Then this PC that comes with a custom metal mounting bracket might be right for you!

    Happy Holidays Swappers! This season I am feeling rather giving and am selling 12 builds at a significant loss to me, but that means a win for 12 lucky people :)

    To answer a few questions:

    • Why am I doing this?
      • I was blessed this year with the news that I have my first child on the way. This means I need to raise funds for the ridiculous cost of baby items as well as make room in our house (my old PC workshop is turning into the baby's room).
      • I am feeling rather generous this year.
    • What am I selling?
      • PC builds for various budgets. All are new or like-new. Very few parts will have more use than standard testing for functionality.
    • How will I price these?
      • As I have seen pricing concerns in the past, and don't care to deal with the "price police," I will grab the most recent/least expensive price for each part here on HWS and list it in the PCPP list. Then I'll take some sort of large discount off the top of the total build.
      • I'm not really trying to deal with lowballers so please do not send me unreasonable offers, as I said, these are almost all new parts (even if they are older) and I know how much everything is worth.
    • How will I select who gets the build?

    • How much are you charging?
      • $ 399 total local or shipping is passed through for non-locals.
      • I wasn't able to take off a MASSIVE chunk of the price this time, but as a percentage, I am trying to stay consistent. This will still make a great gaming PC for just about any 1080p situation and even VR!
    • Anything Else?
      • This build leveraged the best of both worlds from some custom parts and a pre-built system that I purchased for my friend. Some of the parts listed above are ALMOST the same as what is in the system. Here are some notable differences:
    1. The case is actually an Acer pre-built case but comes with front USB-C, a side-loading Optical Drive, and overall sleek-looking front IO.
    2. The motherboard is also from the Acer pre-built and it comes with m.2 WiFi and two DIMM slots. This is the reason for 1x8GB instead of 2x4GB, so you can expand later.
    3. The GPU is actually a flashed Sapphire RX 480 Nitro+ to a very stable RX 580 Nitro+ 4GB. This is almost exclusively so the PCI-e power cables could fit in the case.
    • I will include a custom forged metal bracket for mounting the build to just about anything. This can be used to hold the PC under a desk or almost anywhere else. My friend metal-worked this piece by hand for a perfect fit!
    • I can also include a gaming monitor/mouse/keyboard if a full setup is needed, just let me know what your budget is!

    Servers are located in Peterborough but I have no issues meeting in the surrounding area for delivery (East side of Toronto & Durham).     [USA-NJ][H]New old stock Intel S2600CP2J motherboards [W]Paypal

    Found four S2600CP2J motherboards in storage and looking to get rid of them. These are dual-socket E5 V1/V2 boards with 16 DIMM slots, 2x onboard GbE, and an onboard SAS HBA.

    1 is a loose board. 3 of them are installed in hot swap server nodes that we had on hand as spares. Of these nodes, 2 are set up for low profile cards and 1 is set up for a combination of riser cards including an internal 10GbE dual port card.

    These have never been powered on. Rear I/O shield is not included as these were intended for use in custom servers.

    $110 + shipping each. If you want to buy all 4, let me know and we can work something out. The price will include the board plus whatever parts out of one node that you want. Most likely the parts will be useless since they're designed for a very specific application, but hey maybe you want some sheet metal.

    [USA-CA][H] Steelseries arctis 7 wireless [W] Local pickup

    I owned the Steelseries headset for just about a year and used it for maybe 10-15 hours a month. Just purchased a new wireless headset so I have no use for the Steelseries one anymore. I figured I would give away the old one in the spirit of the Holidays. Headset goes to the first person that can confirm they live local and can arrange a pickup time.

    Not in original packaging. Also do not have the 3.5mm cable that was included in box or the micro USB charge cable. I do have the wireless USB adapter needed to pair the device to the PC and the manual.

    Sorry for the terrible photos but the lighting in my room is pure ass. The headset is in great condition.

    Currently running an i5-6600k, I want to make the shift to Ryzen so I can use my current rig for my 3 young kids (4, 4, and 6) to start gaming on.

    Looking for a 2700x, I know they're $160 on Amazon with a prism cooler so I'm looking for something around $100-120. Must have the original box, I'm picky about it! Does not need a cooler as I will be using an H55 AIO but if the original CPU included a cooler in the box I would prefer to have it for completionists' sake.

    Board is pretty specific but it goes with my color theme and has WiFi. This is new for $150 so I'm looking to pay around $100.

    RGB RAM - I currently have 8GB of Team T-Force Delta RGB. I like it fine so I would be open to either another 8GB of the same RAM, or 16GB of another brand. Looking to pay around $50 for a 16GB kit or $35 for an identical 8GB kit (I have the black heatsink).

    Budget is tight because of Christmas and 3 small kids so I would like to pay <$300 for a combo.

    For sale or trade, is an Acer IPISB-VR Rev. 1.01 mATX LGA 1155 motherboard, with an i5-2320 (4c/4t 3.0GHz) and 8GB (2x4GB) of G-Skill DDR3 1333mhz RAM. I tried to upgrade this to an i5-3470 but couldn't get it to boot. Will include the 3470 with this for free, if you want to give it a shot.

    Cpu includes stock intel cooler which has a 2nd molex fan installed in tandem with the stock cooler fan, to help with gaming thermals. I call it Franken-Fan. I will remove this fan on request, and will clean the CPU cover and re-apply Arctic MX4 if I do so. Thermal paste was replaced on this chip approximately 6 months ago.

    This board and CPU was running my wife's very lightly used gaming rig with ZERO issues until I pulled it and upgraded her to a B150M with an i5-6400 and DDR4. NOTE: The HDMI port on this motherboard has been disabled since I purchased it back in 2013. I believe onboard VGA still works but I was using an RX 580 for my display adapter.

    Hello there! I've got this lightly used 1070 that was used in my wife's/living room PC. I've had no issues with it and I enjoyed looking at the RGB but I've decided to downsize the build (even further from the Ncase M1 it came from lol) and picked up an ITX 1070 so this guy has to go!
