Now that we are at the end of this decade, what were some of the worst hardware to be released? Posted: 26 Dec 2019 07:08 AM PST Or hardware that were in theory, not bad or had the potential to do well, but it just didn't turn out great for some reason? [link] [comments] |

Now that we’re at the end of the decade, what were some of the best hardwares released? Posted: 26 Dec 2019 07:10 PM PST I got curious by the worst hardware of the decade post. What does this community think of best successes of last 10 years? Personally, I think the credit goes to Apple's chip design team. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 06:20 AM PST I'm in the market for a laptop and I am wondering if it might be worth the wait until March-June when the new product lines are widely available. I was kind of hoping for USB 3.1 Gen 2 (or is it USB 3.2) that has Thunderbolt 3 built in, to become common on laptops b/c that's not something that can really be upgraded later. I'm wondering what the thoughts are on this and if it should be more common on 2020 laptops or if it is still a year or so out? Is there anything else of interest in the rumor mills of certain things coming down the pike? I'm pretty tempted to buy a really good priced end of year model (Lenovo or Asus - released in Oct, 3 & Nov 14 of this year respectively), but both are about 40-45% off, so nice pricing. I've noticed a lot of laptops are getting better screens than the standard 1920x1080 but is it really worth it for general use/business laptop (and movies/internet/etc)? As far as desktops, any word on new features or upgraded components expected for this year? [link] [comments] |
r/hardware's thoughts on the potential for EATX-sized graphics cards Posted: 26 Dec 2019 11:05 PM PST What if there were graphics cards the size of Extended ATX motherboards? How powerful could they be, in order to justify their volumes. [link] [comments] |
