    Sometime last year the WD Gold line vanished from the website, leading many to conclude that it was being replaced/folded into the UltraStar line.

    Well, the good news is that it's back.

    The bad news is the UltraStar DC500 line has no datasheet (No, really. All it has is a sales brochure), rendering product comparison difficult to impossible.

    But wait, that's not all! The sales brochure contradicts itself and omits products the site itself features:

    • Page 8: UltraStar ATA Series has a picture of a 14 TB model and "14TB" listed under HelioSeal, but the Highlights section says "up to 12TB capacity"
    • The UltraStar DC HC550, though visible on the main Data Center Drives front page, is nowhere to be found in the sales brochure

    Does anyone know what on Earth is going on with Western Digital's enterprise HDD lineup?
