Bluetooth is still terrible. Posted: 17 Mar 2022 05:51 AM PDT Bluetooth is still terrible. Why do we use it? I thought we lived in an age in which all that didn't work would be chased down and thrown into the fires of obscurity. But not bluetooth. Another product, chirpily touting it's competence and actually being a piece of shit. Here we are again, the headphones that are right next to the computer and cost $400 can't be found by the MacBookPro, but the $100 ones can be. Its often the other way around. Depends on humity or the alignment of planets I guess. submitted by /u/kla [link] [comments] |

Do different CPU models across the same generation have different stock boost clocks for silicon quality or power specification reasons? Posted: 17 Mar 2022 10:14 AM PDT Why can the i3 12100 only boost up to 4.3 GHz while the i9 12900 can boost up to 5.1 GHz? Is that because the i3 has lower silicon quality or to limit its power usage to the announced spec? Let's say I had an unlocked 12100, would I be able to push it to 5.1 GHz at the same voltage that would be applied to the 12900 at that frequency? submitted by /u/SomeKindOfSorbet [link] [comments] |
