I tested 97 versions of Geforce drivers(Directx9,10,11,12 builtin benchmark) Posted: 08 Sep 2021 02:52 AM PDT Here is charts https://imgur.com/a/ctYZj6P <SPEC> GTX 1060 MSI AERO ITX 6GB default setting Core i5 2320 3GHz DDR3 1333 16GB (8x2) Samsang 860 evo 1tb Windows 10 Pro 1909 Physx 9.19.0218 Windows Update off Xbox game bar uninstalled Windows defender real time protection off Windows search off Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser off Program Compatibility Assistant Service off Steam, Origin offline mode Epic games launcher online mode All tested drivers are WHQL game ready standard versions All tested games run at max settings at 1024x768 resolution full screen Updated all tested games to their latest versions(except total war) (Total war was updated during this benchmark) Nvidia control panel settings: defualt GPU usage logged by MSI afterburner Edit: 1.What you are testing I tested Nvidia Geforce drivers performance (from 369.05 to 471.96 Gameready WHQL standard version) on 13 builtin benchmarks 2.What is the test for I just wanted to know how much performance device drivers affect.
This benchmark is automated using Python. These tested games store their benchmark results in specific folderes. So I just took the results and charted using Python. These charts were made by matplotlib. I downloaded these drivers from Nvidia server. I used 1024x768 resoultion. Because my desktop display resulution is 1024x768 My father game me the display. I didn't use Display Driver Uninstaller in most cases. I just installed new drivers without using safe mode. Some people may think getting exact same minimum fps is weired. But it wasn't mistake. Sorry my english [link] [comments] |

Posted: 08 Sep 2021 07:21 PM PDT Can anyone explain? Seems like Nvidia will never have a GPU on a MacOS machine and they won't release their drivers for Linux machines. I kind of understand the Linux part, because it's a small portion of users, but why they have such a bad relationship with macOS users I don't understand [link] [comments] |
