Do you think Samsung will transition back to MLC if they don't have enough sales with 980 Pro? Posted: 03 Nov 2020 01:34 AM PST I've read a lot about how the big draw with the pro series was it being MLC instead of TLC. Many are recommending to get a 970 Pro over the 980 Pro due to double durability, etc. So has there been any news why Samsung transitioned away from TLC? Did they think people just wanted bigger capacity over durability? Also back to my title question, if they don't get enough sales do you think they will transition back to MLC? [link] [comments] |
DDR3 Custom standards per brand? Posted: 03 Nov 2020 12:26 AM PST Hello, I have heard that Apple uses custom DDR3 for their old computers, is this true about other brands aswell, say HP and Dell? (server ram ECC) Could HP branded DDR3 Ram fit to Supermicro? [link] [comments] |
