Can someone explain to be the difference between Nvidia and AMD's GPU VRAM ? Posted: 14 Nov 2020 03:01 PM PST I've come across of posts saying that the amount of vram of RX6000s series will make it age much better and some said it's all about the speed, bus-width, and bandwidth. I'm not really an expert on hardwares and have been deciding between Ampere or Big Navi so i'm very curious on what would be the right move here. Thank you in advance! [link] [comments] |

Can someone explain me why in upgrading my laptop RAM i need to replace my actual RAM? Posted: 15 Nov 2020 02:31 AM PST Basically the title. I asked a technician if they can upgrade laptop's RAM and he said that he could. My laptop is an Acer Aspire 3 a315 - 55g and it has 8GB DDR4 Ram memory. The guy said that to upgrade the ram from 8GB to 16GB he has to buy two 8GB Ram and trash my actual Ram. I'd like to know WHY he has to buy two 8GB Ram instead of buying one because my pc has already one 8GB Ram. [link] [comments] |
